| Stories should be about an event in your
own life. We do not accept fictional stories, stories written
in the third-person or articles clipped from other publications.
Stories must not be longer than 700 words. Everyone who submits
a story and/or old photograph will have their name entered in our
draws for our story contests.
|
| Browse through your old photo album to see if you
might have a picture that relates to your story. If not, perhaps
there’s another interesting old photo you may want to submit.
Photographs must be of good quality to be reproduced. |
| Photographs must contain enough information for
a “caption” to be printed under the picture –
including (from left) the names of people in the picture, as well
as where and when it was taken. Please print your information. |
| For copyright reasons, all stories submitted become
the property of The Senior Paper and cannot be reprinted without
our express permission. |
| The Senior Paper reserves the right to edit all
stories and submissions, without exception. In some cases, only
an excerpt may be used. Stories are considered for print on a first-come,
first-served basis. |
| Submissions to The Senior Paper are not necessarily
published in the next edition. Due to the large amount of stories
received every month, we cannot guarantee when – or if –
a submission will appear in print. |
