It’s amazing how stories of long
ago keep pouring into The Senior Paper. So many precious memories
flood back and we realize how many of us had similar experiences and did
the same things even though distance separated us and ways of communicating
was very limited compared to now. I hope The Senior Paper will continue
for many years to come.
-- Dorothy Finlay, Vanguard, Sk.
I want to congratulate the owners, staff and writers for this incredible
and wonderful newspaper that we seniors enjoy. I hope it will be able
to continue for a long time yet. I'm sending in the names of 10 friends
and family members for sample copies of The Senior Paper and
will submit more later. I relate to most of the experiences the writers
talk about.
-- Phoebe Hutchinson, Coaldale, Ab.
What a wonderful paper. It really takes you back through the years. There
are memories such as the rose hips we made jam from and mother made a
catsup from them. I don’t have the recipe but it was good, but I sure
wouldn’t want to go through all the work. I just couldn’t do without my
monthly copy of The Senior Paper.
-- Jean Bloomquist, Walburg, Sk.
This is the best paper I’ve ever read. The stories of days gone by are
all good, and bring out the old memories for us -- some good, and many
bad ones, too! Those days are gone, but looking at today’s world I’d like
to have them back. Many accolades to The Senior Paper!
-- Theresa Yeo, Coboconk, On.
